The All Saints' Pensioner's Club

The All Saints' Pensioner's Club (seen opposite on its opening day in 1950) meets on a Monday every week in All Saints' Church Hall, Norman Road, Wimbledon from 1.30.p.m. - 3.30.p.m.

Attractions include Bingo, Raffles, Outings and Holidays, all of which can be had for as little as 75p per session. The club also supports All Saints' Church in a variety of ways including donations towards the children's flowers for Mothering Sunday.

The Club, which is affliliated to the Wimbledon Guild, was founded in November 1949, but was officially opened by the Mayor of Merton on Valentine's Day of the following year.  Under its first leader, Miss. W. Arnold, it originally met in the Institute (the building almost opposite the church hall) and was the sixth club of its kind to be opened.
