Church Working Party & The Church Garden

Thank you to all those who have given so much time and effort over the past year to help with all those little jobs that often go unnoticed. Working Parties run on Wednesday mornings from 9.00.a.m. until 12 noon -  and if you would like to help please talk to one of the churchwardens.

All Saints' School Website

All Saints' School now has its own website which gives in-depth information about the school and all that is going on there with the children.  The school pages will continue on this site, but will be more general in their approach.  Visit the site by clicking here

This Website is updated at least once a week - usually on a Sunday. If you have any items for inclusion - or any ideas or suggestions for the site - please see one of the Wardens, Father Christopher or Chris Maurice.  Additionally if you spot any broken links or errors could you please let us know.

The Father who draws us to Himself

1st Reading: - I Kings 19: 4-8. Strengthened by the food he walked until he reached the mountain of God.

Psalm 33  'Taste and see that the Lord is good.'

2nd Reading: - Ephesians 4: 30-5:2.   Follow Christ by loving as he loved you.

Gospel: - John 6: 41-51  I am the living bread which has come down from heaven.

Masses this week (Year 2)

Tuesday 14th August - Low Mass - 7.30.p.m.

Wednesday 15th August - Low Mass 12 noon.  The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Working Party

There will be no working party this week

Teddy Bear Church

Sunday 12th August is the 2nd in the month and we will be holding our monthly 'Teddy Bear Church' at 10.00.a.m. in the Chapel.

This month's theme is 'Joy'  All are welcome to attend.

Solemn Evensong & Benediction

Sunday 19th August is the 3rd in the month and there will be Solemn Evensong & Benediction at 6.30.p.m.

We will be joined for this service by members of the G.S.S.

Sponsored Walk

Sponsor forms are now available at the back of the church for our Sponsored Walk which will take place on August Bank Holiday. There are also details of the walk for those of you who are thinking of coming along.

'Open Fridays'

Every Friday the church is open from 9.00.a.m. - 12 noon for coffee, to light a candle or just to sit quietly.  There is also a 'Nearly New' table with a variety of interesting items for sale. All welcome.

There is also access to the garden area which has recently become part of the 'Quiet Garden Movement' 

Monday Lunches

Beginning at at 12.30.p.m., the cost is £1.50 and for this you get a mug of soup, a cheese & pickle roll and a piece of fruit.  Anyone is welcome so why not give it a try!

Prayer List

The recent changes in the law regarding Data Protection means that we can no longer publish names of the sick.  However, they can still be prayed for verbally and we will always pray in church every Sunday and during the week for those who have asked for our prayers.
