Church Working Party & The Church Garden

Thank you to all those who have given so much time and effort over the past year to help with all those little jobs that often go unnoticed. Working Parties run on Wednesday mornings from 9.00.a.m. until 12 noon -  and if you would like to help please talk to one of the churchwardens.

All Saints' School Website

All Saints' School now has its own website which gives in-depth information about the school and all that is going on there with the children.  The school pages will continue on this site, but will be more general in their approach.  Visit the site by clicking here

Website Update

This Website is updated at least once a week - usually on a Sunday. If you have any items for inclusion - or any ideas or suggestions for the site - please see one of the Wardens, Father Christopher or Chris Maurice.  Additionally if you spot any broken links or errors could you please let us know.

6th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Jesus, friend of outcasts.

1st Reading: - Leviticus 13: 1-2, 45-46  The leper must live apart; he must live outside the camp.

Psalm 31  'You are my hiding place,O Lord; you surround me with cries of deliverance.'

2nd Reading: - 1 Corinthians 10: 31 - 11: 1  Take me for your model as I take Christ.

Gospel: - Mark 1: 40-45   The leprosy left him at once and he was cured.

Masses this week (Year 2)

Tuesday 13th February - Low Mass 7.30.p.m.

Wednesday 14th February - Ash Wednesday - Litany, Imposition of Ashes & Solemn Mass - 8.00.p.m.

Thursday 15th February - Low Mass 11.00.a.m.

Lent at All Saints

Mondays - 12.30 pm (starting 19th February) Lent Lunch, in the Church Hall (Soup, cheese roll with pickle, & a piece of fruit - £1-50)

Tuesdays - 7.30 pm (starting 20th February)  Stations of The Cross. 8.00.p.m.  Said Mass. 8.30 - 9.00.p.m. Lent Study Group.

Thursdays - 11.00 a.m. - Said Mass.

All Saints' Lent Appeal

This year we will be supporting the Bishop of Southwark's Lent Appeal and you can find all the details here

Please put your donations in the Lent Box which is on the table at the back of the church. It will be opened on the Sunday after Easter - 8th April.  If you are a tax payer please take an envelope to use for the whole Lent, and fill in the form for the Diocese to claim back the tax paid on your Lent Call donations. (Envelopes should be put in the collection bag as the slot in the box is too small to take them .)

Table Top Sale - Saturday 17th February

There will be a 'Table-Top-Sale' in S. Saviour's Church Hall, Grand Drive, SW20 9 DL on Saturday 17th February in aid of transport costs for our Walsingham Pilgrimage.

Opening times are 10.00.a.m. - 12.30.p.m. and admission is 30p (£1.00 before 10.00)

Tables cost £6.00 and can be booked through Jenny or by phoning Margaret on 020 8540 2493

Working Party

There will be no working party this week.

Choral Evensong

As next Sunday is the 3rd in the month, there will be Choral Evensong at 6.30.p.m.

'Open Fridays'

Every Friday the church is open from 9.00.a.m. - 12 noon for coffee, to light a candle or just to sit quietly.  There is also a 'Nearly New' table with a variety of interesting items for sale. All welcome.

There is also access to the garden area which has recently become part of the 'Quiet Garden Movement'

Monday Lunches

Beginning at at 12.30.p.m., the cost is £1.50 and for this you get a mug of soup, a cheese & pickle roll and a piece of fruit.  Anyone is welcome so why not give it a try!
