Although most of the distinguished personages associated with All Saints’ are but a distant memory, Gareth Valentine is a notable exception.

Gareth was organist and choirmaster at All Saints’ for a short period in the late 1970’s when Father John Hall was Parish Priest. During his short stay he wrote some impressive music for the choir and was Musical Director for our 1979 Christmas production of ‘Alladin.’

Since then he has, of course, gone on to much greater things and is now one of the U.K.’s leading Musical Directors with a string of credits to his name, including that of the Channel 4’s ‘Musicality’ series.
