Church Working Party & The Church Garden
Thank you to all those who have given so much time and effort over the past year to help with all those little jobs that often go unnoticed. Working Parties run on Wednesday mornings from 9.00.a.m. until 12 noon - and if you would like to help please talk to one of the churchwardens.
All Saints' School Website
All Saints' School now has its own website which gives in-depth information about the school and all that is going on there with the children. The school pages will continue on this site, but will be more general in their approach. Visit the site by clicking here
This Website is updated at least once a week - usually on a Sunday. If you have any items for inclusion - or any ideas or suggestions for the site - please see one of the Wardens, Father Christopher or Chris Maurice. Additionally if you spot any broken links or errors could you please let us know.

G.S.S. Requiem Mass

Parish Walk - Next Saturday
We will meet outside of South Wimbledon Tube Station at 10 am and travel by the 93 bus to the Green Man. The walk will take us along the north edge of Putney Heath and then along Putney Park Lane past St. Margaret's, where our Chapel pews came from, to Barnes Common. We will visit the memorial to 70's rock star, Marc Bolan.
We will then walk across the common, through Old Barnes Cemetery, where we will see the grave of Ebenezer Cobb Morley, one of the founders of the F.A.
The walk will continue across the common to Beverley Brook and follow that to the River Thames. We will follow the river downstream to Putney and the 93 bus route back to Wimbledon.
The walk is mainly flat but can be muddy with rough surfaces. There are refreshments available at the very beginning, middle and end of the walk. There are toilets near the Green Man and in Putney.
The Parish Walks are open to all - not just members of All Saints'. If you have any questions please speak to Roger.
(Walkers can just 'turn up' for any parish walk on the day - but if you hope to be walking, it would be an idea to always let Roger know beforehand - especially if you will be travelling to the meeting point by public transport - so that he doesn't set off without you.)
Roger's walks are always very enjoyable - so why not give them a try?
Christ the King
Next Sunday is the last in the Christian Year - the Feast of Christ the King. There will be Solemn Mass at the usual time of 11.00.a.m. and in the evening Solemn Evensong & Benediction at 6.30.p.m.
The P.C.C. are reminded that there is a meeting of the Council after Mass next Sunday - 12.45.p.m. in the Hall
Working Party as usual this week - 9.00.a.m. - 12 noon. All help most welcome.
Our Christmas Fair takes place on Saturday 1st December. There is a list at the back of the church for you to 'sign up' to help on the various stalls that have been planned. There will also be posters available for you to put in your windows and boxes in which you can place your gifts for the various stalls. Please help in any way you can so that we can make this event a resounding success.
All Saints' Boxes
If any of you still have All Saints' Boxes at home could you please bring them to church for emptying. Many thanks
School Art Work
The school have produced some wonderful artwork as part of their Remembrance Day service. Please take time to look at it if you are able. Also, at the back of the church are some details of every man remembered on our War Memorial who died during World War One. Please take time to read some of them.
Every Friday the church is open from 9.00.a.m. - 12 noon for coffee, to light a candle or just to sit quietly. There is also a 'Nearly New' table with a variety of interesting items for sale. All welcome.
There is also access to the garden area which has recently become part of the 'Quiet Garden Movement'
Beginning at at 12.30.p.m., the cost is £1.50 and for this you get a mug of soup, a cheese & pickle roll and a piece of fruit. Anyone is welcome so why not give it a try!
The November News is published now. It is full of interesting articles as well as news for the coming days and weeks. Please pick up your copy from the back of the church.

Parish News in greater depth can always be found here and Father Christopher's monthly letter here.
The recent changes in the law regarding Data Protection means that we can no longer publish names of the sick. However, they can still be prayed for verbally and we will always pray in church every Sunday and during the week for those who have asked for our prayers.
